Darren is founding director of our Leeds office, where he combines his experience of delivering complex large scale projects with a considerable track record in engineering unique arts-related structures.

Darren has worked as an independent consultant as well as for international engineering organisations. His small-scale work has often been part of more extensive developments, and he has also engineered major commercial, retail, residential and regenerative mixed-use projects in their own right. He enjoys using the breadth of his knowledge to facilitate the aspirations of his clients
on every scale.

As a member of the project team, Darren has collaborated with architects, artists and designers with national and international profile. His approach is as pragmatic as it is ambitious: he believes that buildability is the hallmark of successful engineering and is skilled at producing high value solutions that do not interfere with aesthetic impact.
